~Whip It Real Hard~

My first holiday trip with my poly mates, Sathish, Yusof, and Daryl. Its my second time to Batam but this time as a tourist. Check into the custom around 7.30 and departed at 8.30. The first day wasnt that interesting as we were stuck with the tour guide. All the attractions and places named our schedule are a letdown. Most of the places are just random shops off the street. I guess the local really wants us to buy their authentic polo ralph lauren product. Of all the places we have been, 3 of them sell that. The only item of the day i liked was shopping. However, the mall, Golden Truly doesnt have much stuff i am looking for. Bought a belt and a tie and its freaking cheap! Not to forget, to shop in the supermarket to stock up food for our 2 nights in Turi Beach Resort. At about 5+ Batam timing, we checked into the resort. Our first sight was greeted with a sandy beach with sea breeze brushing through our cheeks. It was so relaxing. O ya the tour guide introduced us one of their local drink. It is a type of rose essence and Sathish bought it. Everyone of us wished to puke in the van the moment we tried it. Therefore, we used that drink for punishment in the night when we played bridge and Big2.

Its the second day already. The sun greeted us early in the morning at 6o'clock. Wasnt used to it as the timing is 1 hour earlier than Singapore. We think that the 1hour earlier system is redundant. Had breakfast in the resort cafe. It was delicious with wide variety of choices to cater to different tourists' taste. Headed back to our resort and rested awhile before heading out for free and easy shopping time! Went to 2 malls, Nagoya mall and Kepri Mall. The first mall doesnt have much things that caught my attention. Only purchased a perfume. Had A&W for lunch. Was quite a disappointment for the fried chicken. However, the Rootbeer float was the one i missed. Headed to Kepri mall around 3+. Over here, i was having a shopping spree. Bought 4 Tshirt and a polo. Spent every cents of rupiah i had and i am broke. Before leaving the mall, we bought 12 doughnuts just to help the rest of my friends spend their money. Back to the resort. Sometime hilarious happened. While we were playing card game, the television turned off by itself suddenly. Everyone blamed Sathish for lying on the controller. However, after searching, it was not under him. The controller was on the desk. The 3 of my friends flew under blanket in split second. Only then i realised i accidentally set the auto sleep mode timer. All of them was like FUCK YOU LAH IVAN! HAHAHHA. During the night, Sathish was struggling with stomach upset which was suspected to be caused by pickles we bought by the roadside. He conquered the toilet for more than 10 times. LOLZ!

All of us didnt get much sleep from last night. Sathish got better in the morning. Had breakfast at the same cafe again. There was a slight change in the menu. Nothing much during the last day as we are to check at 12pm. The tour guide van came at 12.30 which we expected to be late. HAHA. One last shopping before we headed back to Singapore. Nothing much over there but get ourselves one last Rootbeer Float before we checked in. The ferry ride back was longer than the first day. At about 6, finally step on shore again. Went to eat at long john silver before heading back home.

Woke up late in the morning. Set the alarm for the wrong timing. Scurried over to Kallang Cage to have a soccer session with my poly friends. Guess i really dont have talent in soccer. HAHA. Had lunch at leisurepark and went to Orchard Cineleisure for K session. Couldnt really sing today HAHA. Home sweet home

I was sick for the day. Woke up feeling very fatigued. Had brunch and headed to bed from 2+ till 8pm. Woke up and took panadol and back to bed again. Woke up again at 9+ and felt better. In the night i couldnt sleep as i slept enough in the day.
